Yes, we know that's not a word. And we don't care. We might love our cameras more than we love each other (just kidding! kind of.) NYC is our home base but we have been known to travel far and wide in search of the perfect taco.
We both like to cook, but nobody likes to do the dishes. We've been married for a little over a year, share an office, and still love to spend time together.

Ariel and Lou’s wedding was rustic perfection. They missed Hurricane Irene by a week and luckily their gorgeous venue, New Jersey’s Crossed Keys Inn escaped relatively unscathed. We were all able to enjoy the beautiful grounds and late-summer sun as these two got hitched in an emotional ceremony. Can you tell that they’re genuinely, totally, completely in love? We couldn’t be happier for them.
Mona and Andrew’s wedding was epic in every way. First of all there were two full ceremonies, Hindu and Jewish and complete costume changes between each. Mona is drop dead gorgeous and a dream to photograph. Their day was rich with history and culture. Her Indian outfits came straight from New Delhi and her traditional wedding dress was 90 years old and last worn by Andrew’s great-grandmother. Spending two days with her and Andrew was fantastic and we were able to make so many beautiful images because they just gave themselves over to us. We loved everything about them and their families. They were so warm and welcoming and both sides showed how excited they were about the joining of these two people and cultures.
Two of my best friends were married a few weeks ago, just as gay marriage became legal in New York state. Mat and I feel responsible for this wedding because they met at our wedding! It was such a joyous occasion to see two people so completely in love with each other, make it legal. We were there as guests, for a change, but managed to snag some photos anyways. A big thank you to the Pop-up Chapel and all the hard work they did to give 24 couples amazing weddings in practically no time at all. Here’s to marriage equality in New York State and beyond!
For their engagement shoot Ariel and Lou returned to the scene of the crime, so to speak. They had their first date at a bar off of Prospect Park in Brooklyn and so we all thought that a lovely stroll through the green expanses and leafy trees was just the ticket. And we finished up at the bar with cool drinks which is just how we like our shoots to end.
Heidi and John’s beautiful Tribeca Rooftop wedding was featured on Style Me Pretty’s New York wedding blog this morning! We’re so beyond thrilled, especially because this wedding was one of our favorites and it turned out so well!
