We completely lucked out with the weather for Damien and Gnar’s engagement shoot at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden. The cherry blossoms were in bloom and these two were gaga in love. We can’t wait for their wedding in a couple weeks!

February 16, 2011Free Engagement session for NYC and Philadelphia clients!
January 19, 2011
It’s that time of year again when the inquiries are coming thick and fast and awesome new clients are becoming awesome new friends. It’s also time to start planning engagement sessions. We are getting busy you guys! This year we’re offering a free engagement session to all new weddings that are booked and the deposit is paid before April 15th. Woot!
Engagement sessions are a fantastic way for us all to get to know each other as well as for you to get comfortable in front of the camera. You don’t want your first time in front of our big ol’ lenses to be on your wedding day. That day is stressful enough. If you’re at all camera shy or don’t think you take good pictures, an engagement session is essential. We will show you how to pose (or non-pose) and relax on camera. We lurve shooting e-sessions because we get to go around to all of our favorite locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn and Philly and really capture the essence of you. We’ve been scouting locations this year for some super cool styled shoots as well (more on that soon!)
Everyone always asks what they can do with the photos. Our favorite idea is to make a guestbook with the images and plenty of space to write and leave it out at the wedding. We can help you design one of these. We also love when the images pop up in thank you notes! We can also include them in your album if that’s your preference and they’re great openers for your love story.
Make sure you contact us soon to get on the books because 2011 is filling up fast!
Fort Tilden Engagement Photos – Okeoma + David
June 5, 2010These two are beyond adorable. Okeoma and David met while teaching together in the Marshall Islands several years ago and have been together ever since. They wanted to meet at Fort Tilden way out in Queens. It’s an abandoned military base with a beach! Who knew this was even in NYC! It was a completely genius location for this beach-loving pair. I kept thinking I was in California all over again, except for the storm and clouds rolling in over the waves. I’ll definitely be out there again soon!
